What are your thoughts on his sacking and did he deserve it or not?
My thoughts:
If that medic lass had not been so good looking and fit and instead looked like Zelda off terrahawks, then Jose would still be managing Chelsea in a high position in the league.
The players have been pampered by this lass, I think. They've took to her like she is a mother hen and also a sexual fantasy, probably.
Jose having a pop at her and embarrassing her, coupled with Hazard probably feeling aggrieved at not being allowed to be treated by her just accelerated the discontent.
A note to all managers. If you're going to hire an attractive woman that has hands on intimate dealings with a group of men, then expect those men to form a closer bond to the female than they will with you and woe betide if you make them choose their allegiance.
Either hire a Hattie Jacques type but fitter and thinner or simply do not have females dealing with players intimately and emotionally, because all men are mammies boys in truth and would sooner place Jose on a skewer by his nut sack up to his mouth than have a bad word said about a honey.
So what do we really have at Chelsea?
In truth we have a bunch of overpaid arrogant up their own arse players who have decided to create an atmosphere against their manager who only last year managed them to a title and put his faith in them to follow his ethics - then make the job impossible for him.
So who's to blame for this?
Well to be fair I don't blame the woman. She was simply doing her job and it's not her fault that she has had a mammy influence on the players to such an extent as to have them throwing tantrums.
I do blame Jose for some of it. I blame him for embarrassing the woman and the man on that pitch who went to treat Hazard. I also blame him for making Hazard feel like he's not worth treatment so late in a game, even though Jose did not know what extent the injury could have been. It matters not that it turned out to be nothing.
Having said that, he is the manager and is given reign over the players and orchestrates what happens in training and on that pitch.
It's the duty of all employees to follow orders of a manager in charge of them whilst they are being paid to do so.
A certain amount of players have not done this and have deliberately went against him.
On a ship, that's called mutiny and on a battlefield it's called desertion of duty and is punishable by court martial or in other countries - death.
How do you punish the players who refuse to play for you?
Do you sack them and lose 10/20/30/40? million.
Do you identify the players who have created a rotten environment on and off the pitch and once identified, fine them a few weeks wages?
Nahhh.
You be weak and always follow the masses like we always do in life, because mass opinion whether right or wrong is the way forward, right? wrong?...it's wrong but it happens all of the time.
Mourinho has been on the end of a decision made by a bunch of weak board members and an owner who didn't even have the balls to turn up for that meeting.
Jose Mourinho, you are arrogant and your belief in yourself borders on the extreme vain. That's a compliment because that's what makes you what you are and why you have been so successful.
Just remember one huge thing in this day and age of football, where super rich owners are concerned. There is no loyalty in football, even for special managers.
There may appear to be loyalty but it's soon found out once something like this happens.
A few lessons to be learned here.
1. If you have a gripe with people working under you; do not make a mockery of them in front of the world or even a small crowd. Take them aside and air your grievances.
2. Never believe that overpaid arse-holes will die for the cause. That mantle is reserved for those who would do it for a real cause and for a pittance.
