I didn't comment on the Stoke or the Bournemouth game because - well frankly, I couldn't be bothered to expend energy trying to think of something worthwhile, so I'll just simply say, McClaren has to be sacked. There's simply no excuses any more.
He's lost most of the players, regardless of them coming out in supposed support. They don't respect him or his tactics and it shows on the pitch.
Very few players showed heart on that pitch and those that did, are not exactly blessed with exciting talent.
The one's that are, simply don't give a flying feck. They hide when the going gets mildly tough - and hibernate when the going gets really tough.
Us fans deserve much better. We deserve the very minimum of 100% effort in EVERY game, regardless of whether the manager/coach, is shite.
They are paid sickening wages per week that the ordinary worker takes a few years to make and yet they serve up performances like that then think the fans are being harsh when they have a go at them.
They want sacking and all the wages paid to the fans in compensation for having to expend their time and energy supporting that absolute shower of lazy, heartless, uninterested bag of absolute utter shite.
There was nobody more optimistic than me. I picked out a positive amid a pile of manure on many occasions. I always had hope. I still do have hope but that's all I have left, because my optimistic bones have fractured and are in danger of turning to powder; never to be repaired, if this club does not get rid of McClaren for starters.
That would only solve one problem. The next problem is getting in a manager that can re-motivate - re-ignite - re-construct and saturate in confidence; this team of shit bags.
If we manage to achieve this and stave off relegation, we need to get rid of those that decided to give up or those who decided when they fancied playing.
Wijnaldum either gets a new lease of life under a new manager or he goes. I'm not arsed which.
Sissoko can just piss off. I've had enough of his game. He's simply not good enough but thinks he is.
There's quite a few more I could mention but I simply can't be arsed to go through them; although I will say this: All the sick notes that have spent best part of the entire season out injured, as well as the season before; get rid of the bassads. Just get shot of them. It doesn't matter if they get fit for the start of next season - just get rid because you can bet your bottom dollar that they will break down and spend another season playing 5 minutes at a time.
Send De-Jong back to where he came from or whoever will take him for whatever we can get. What an utter waste of money. I'm not buying the "oh he's been so unlucky" shite. It's one injury after another and then he gets poked in the frigging eye. So what? He has two of them.
On a serious note though, he's a shirker. He can't hack the graft of the premier league and neither can a lot of the other lazy bassads.
Mike Ashley's spent 80 million this season and McClaren can do nothing with them as a gelled unit, even after all this time.
Ashley is frustrating. I believe he has the interests of the club at heart - I really do - but he just seems to surround himself with people he can trust. Unfortunately those people are not what he needs around him. He needs people who can address problems on the PLAYING side and the MANAGERIAL/COACHING side.
He needs to stop being so faithful to average and below average footballing people who every person can see are dragging the club down to square one.
We've had the rough with severe financial troubles. He came in and steadied the ship, amid much turmoil as he did it.
However, we are now solid as a club in everything except the quality of staff needed to get the best out of the real quality of players that we do possess.
He needs to address this right now and get in the right people to make sure it goes forward.
Mike Ashley: I believe your heart is in the club. I believe you are stubborn to the point of irritation. I believe you trust those close to you to aid you in the running of the club, regardless of whether they can actually do the job.
Now when you can see that they can't do the job - you need to see it as it is and understand that the fans can see it smashed into their faces each week as they expend emotion - energy - cash and their knowledge of Newcastle united, to the point of knowing what's right and what's wrong.
When you get told it's wrong, take a look around you and act on it - because football at the highest level in England, is a cut-throat business - and managers, plus players and staff's livelihood's hinge on them doing the job they are paid to do. Not just because it's a job - but because it's a job they love - and a job they do because they want to make a difference to the positive, not just pick up a wage regardless.
Mike Ashley: You only live once in your skin, with your money and your mind, so put them all to use and do the right thing for the club that you profess to love and sack McClaren and his backroom boys, then bring in a manager that can literally take the bull by the horns and threaten to take this club forward with a passion, whilst you provide the funding to see that it's done.
A premier league with a Newcastle united fighting on all fronts would be a joy to behold. Make it happen Mike and start by ridding the club of the, talk the talk's and replace them all with the, walk the walk's.
