I watched that Anthony Joshua/Dillian Whyte bout and really enjoyed it. That's what a fight should be all about instead of the dancing about that most heavyweights seem to do for their millions.
I thought Joshua showed a lot of stamina and strength as well as skill against an equally dangerous opponent with similar stance.
Two hungry fighters who gave value for money, among a card of other good fights.
It was a great knockout by Joshua but he will have to be on his mettle if a rematch comes off, which he will win again as long as he keeps up his push for the top, because this lad has the boxing world at his feet if he does,.
Also I have to give a mention to Chris Eubanks Jr, because he is some boxer this lad. Another one that has the boxing world at his feet, especially with his dad being behind him because his dad was a total warrior in that ring.
Chris Eubanks Jr has the warrior instinct plus he is a very classy and powerful boxer.
Those two boxers are going to massively help in putting boxing back on the map, because all the crowd pleasing boxers are near the end of their careers.
Obviously Mayweather can still cut it but there's very few of the old guard still entertaining. You only have to look at Klitschko against Fury to see that the entertainment value in the ring is scarce with most of the entertainment coming from Fury, pre-match - either singing or trying for a bit of comedy put down's.
It's good banter but it needs to be followed up by walking the walk after talking the talk in terms of giving the fans value for their money, which that fight was certainly not.
